Cara Mor in his all mighty wisdom knew that great evils already existed here on Earth before he even placed man here. He tried to keep man safe in the 'Garden.' But he knew it wouldn't work. He knew that Eve would take of the apple, deceived by the serpent lurker, then give it to Adam. He already knew what Adam's choice would be.... though he hoped he wouldn't.

So Cara Mor made a back-up plan. He wanted to protect his beloved friends from harm from the enemy. In this world lived Giants, Lurkers and Beasts. Lurkers attach themselves to people and feast on their voxendo. Beasts being wild animals of ancient times; Saber tooth cats, Short faced bears, Tremendous Skylarks and such. He loves man so very much you see. He knew he would have to make them leave the Garden before they ate from that other tree.

So began the Era of the Guardians. He placed many creatures here to protect man. The Phoenix would patrol the air; always on guard with three keen eyes that saw both the physical and spiritual realm. The Rock Monsters who would be man's individual, personal, faithful protector. The Limner; part physical, part spirit. They would teach man many wonderful things about 'The Great Friend' and the spirit realm.

For Cara Mor gave all men Voxendo. He left it a secret gift for them to discover on their own. Voxendo is the qualities, strengths, power possessed that is like Cara Mor. Courage, heroism, belief, valor, strength, peace and love. The ability to call things into existence just by speaking and believing. When all 'Man' discovers their voxendo and learns what it is and how to use it; Then the Era of the Guardians will pass and so will the protectors. Man will understand their gifts and ability to protect themselves from the evils of this world. Each man has free will and a choice to succumb to this world or to live on the straight path. They have a choice. A choice not to saturate themselves with the things of this world.

This story is about an 11yr old boy, Netri Annora of the Shist Clan. Netri is trying to become a man in this treacherous world with so many dangers. He struggles with choices and embarks on a journey. This journey makes him explore himself and his choices. As he struggles with his growing pains and choices, he will discover his own voxendo. He is a 'True Heart', he has the most powerful voxendo. But will he lose it all by making wrong choices? Will he plummet into the temptations of this world causing his own faithful Rock Monster's heart to break in two and perish?
